Robin Rigg project description
Transmission Capital Partners was declared prefered bidder for the Robin Rigg offshore transmission licence on 5 August 2010. [See Ofgem press release] . We established TC Robin Rigg OFTO Ltd as a special purpose company that would own the transmission assets and hold the transmission licence.
TC Robin Rigg OFTO Ltd was awarded a transmission licence and took ownership of the assets on 2 March 2011, becoming Britain's first Offshore Transmission Owner. [See Ofgem press release] . The transfer value of the assets was £65m.
